Yara Pilbara Fertilizers is one of the largest ammonia plant in the world at Burrup Peninsula, Dampier, WA6713, Northwest of western Australia. PSS Asia Engineering secured the major maintenance work during the shutdown of the plant in 2008 which was delivered on-time and to budget and successfully completed.
The on-going Maintenance contract with Yara Pilbara (formerly known as BFPL) started in 2005 & renewed for a further period of 5 years in 2008. This work involves regular day to day maintenance of the plant as well as modification works in a brown field environment.
The Performance and professional work of PSS Asia Engineering secured the long term Maintenance Contract from Yara Pilbara (formerly BFPL), which includes, General Mechanical, Electrical Maintenance works, Scaffolding, Coating and insulation works.
The PSS Asia Engineering performed maintenance and repair activity on an Emergency shutdown during April 2008, due to break down for 4 days.
